Tanja Bungardt-Price
Tanja Bungardt-Price has been a student of yoga since 2004. She has been interested in yoga because she wanted to explore the ancient and holistic system of harmonizing body, heart and mind.
During her journey of discovering yoga as a tool for self-healing and self-realization she found that she wanted to learn more and also share her experiences with others, therefore teaching was only a natural progression.
Pregnancy is a time of transition and Tanja believes that yoga will not only help maintain the health and well-being of the expecting mother and child but also bring peace and freedom to the body, heart and mind of both.
Tanja is teaching Vinyasa (flow) and Iyengar classes for all levels and expecting mothers.
Tanja Bungardt-Price has been drawing ever since she can remember. In 1992 she emigrated from Germany to the United States of America as a 22 year old artist in love, who dreamed of working for Disney one day.
She has since achieved a BFA in Media Arts and Animation, written and illustrated her own books, comics and animations.
She has a great passion for telling meaningful and sometimes personal stories about unusual controversial issues through Children's book writings, illustrations, 2D and 3D animations. She loves to make people and children talk, think, connect and be inspired.
Currently Tanja resides with her husband Bill in Highland-Park as a freelance artist and yoga teacher.
